Steve at Maxim came to us back in July 2007 with the challenge of
helping Maxim to attract overseas candidates and placement opportunities.
improvements to the workflow and quality of data collected
stronger usability and visual appeal of the site
After a vigorous high level envisioning phase to the project we provided Maxim Recruitment with a variety of ideas for the future development of their online strategy. This proved to be a great starting point for the Maxim Recruitment account which we hope will grow over many years to come.
We started with our design process and the first port of call was marketing collateral. We created a more diverse yet accurate photography collection to feed the on and offline marketing. Print materials were also supplied for in-house use including sales sheets and database friendly word templates. This then led into flat visuals of the new website featuring:
Additional real estate with a 1024 resolution design
A split navigation
Stronger calls to action
Iconography to help the user delineate between heavy text based content
We made the site more accessible and search engine friendly by giving the site a CSS tableless re-build with removal of asp post backs while remaining contribute friendly.
The site also takes advantage of sIFR technology to add rich typography into web pages without sacrificing accessibility, search engine friendliness, or markup semantics.
We all have our fingers crossed for Steve at Maxim to gain a local award this year.
