Drew Smith Limited is an established building services company based in Southampton. There was an existing web presence for the company but they were looking for a new professionally designed website to promote the business and to update the corporate look and feel in line with a revamped brochure. Design Haus have been commissioned to design both the site and the brochures.

Drew Smith Limited had an established brand when they came to us. Part of our challenge was to follow-through on the style that had been created, but make it work effectively on the Web.

The first step in this process was creating an effective site architecture for presenting the content. This included identifying the building projects that Drew Smith carried out as central to the presentation. The decision was made to keep a focus on 'the work' and allow the rest of the content to support that area. The home page depicted in the thumbnail on the right shows the two projects highlighted. This emphasis using pictures from the project encourages the user to get to know Drew Smith Ltd by viewing the kind of work they have been involved with.

The use of colours in the site (mainly grey, black and red) keeps the style of their identity, but also serves to frame the great photography.
